Rio – the city with an electric spirit. Colourful & classy, dirty & raw. It’s a vibrant, musical city lined by beaches full of bottoms in thongs!  We met a wonderful group of people who without a doubt helped us to experience the city properly and a week later, having survived street & stadium footie matches, street parties, samba & far, far too much Caipirinha we had to move on for our health if nothing more.  There is only so much of Rio that your body can take when you’re not fitting in the daily siesta but I would urge anyone to go for the World Cup if they get the chance. It will be an amazing party!
